Proud Mommy

This photo was taken on my very first Mother's Day, and what a wonderful day it was...my babies had just come home 3 days previous. They are 4 weeks in this picture.
I just had my 6 week check up and am feeling great! I'm 5 pounds from my pre-pregnancy weight...yippee...now I just have to get rid of the loose skin!

Proud Daddy

Travis is a WONDERFUL daddy, I couldn't ask for a better man to father our children. He has been quite tired, we haven't figured out a good sleeping pattern for him, but we're working on it. Travis digs right in when it comes to dirty diapers, I try to leave those for him! hehehe

Sleeping

This is often how we find the babies in the morning. The bed is elevated a bit for Karly due to her acid reflux. Travis will be lowering the bed tonight and Karly will have to sleep in her bouncy seat until we get the acid reflux under control.

Proud Grandmas

Our children are so lucky to have two wonderful grandmas. Both are such a big help.

6 weeks old

Here the babies had just had their bathes. We have a home health nurse that comes out (Terri) twice a week to do weight checks and on Monday May 28th (6 weeks old) the babies weighed: Karly 6 pounds 9 ounces, Nathan 7 pounds 9 ounces, and Anna 7 pounds.

BIRTH day

Our babies were born on April 16, 2007 at 10:56, 10:58, and 10:59 a.m. I had a scheduled c-section; after 2 weeks of hospital bed rest the 2 medications I was on couldn't stop the contractions so the doctor (Dr. Mandsager) decided to take them at 32 weeks.

The first photo is of Nathan Robert. He was the middle child and had to have suction used to get him out because he was so far into my back. He weighed 4 pounds 5 ounces and measured 17 inches long. He was on oxygen for awhile and had a few days of bili lights. He came home on May 10th.

The second photo is of Karly Jo. She was the first born and the tiniest of them all. She weighed 3 pounds 15 ounces and measured 16 inches long. She was on oxygen as well and under bili lights. She came home on May 11th.

The last photo is of Anna Louise, she was the last to be born. She weighed 4 pounds 1 ounce and measured 17 inches long. She was on oxygen for awhile and had a few days of bili lights. She came home on May 10th.

We feel so blessed to have our little miracles home with us. Each one has their own little personality already and they're only 6 weeks old!!

Up and Running

I've finally gotten the chance to sit down and get this blog going. I'm hoping to be able to keep up with it and keep everyone informed about our new family. I hope you enjoy the website and if you have any ideas please feel free to let us know.
